![]() ![]() I know some prefer to stumble upon things organically and others prefer seeing everything all at once. You are free to enable/disable every icon on the map. It also seems the map is broken up into sections, and within those sections, you can see a list of things you can do in that specific section. There are also MANY treasure chests scattered around the map Places that can reward you with new cloaks/necklaces You should be able to find Mana on the ground as well (going by the demo) Places that can give you Mana (which is used to unlock skills). Places where you eliminate the enemy to gain a stat increase Places where you can find lore for the Archive In terms of what you can do in the world: You can also increase your healing/materials pouch through crafting as well as upgrade your gear. There’s also a basic crafting system where you can take specific materials to make other ones. ![]() These can be found by just running through the world or from enemies dropping it. You’ll also have to collect materials used for upgrading. Where I'm at in the full game, I haven't unlocked any of these things yet but the demo shows you all of that. These will come into play in regards to how strong you can be. But for some of us? We don’t like it and it’s not a new thing invented in the year of our lord 2023 for Forspoken.Įnemy weakness, upgrading the stats on your cloak/necklace, adding passive skills to said cloak/necklace, what nails you have equipped and their passive skills and upgrading skills through Spellcraft. Y’all should just say you like it and leave it there. But the people that do not like it are not spinning an issue out of thin air and this idea as presented is just very ignorant. It’s not done fringe take to enjoy it, it’s not worth ostracizing someone, it’s not really weird at all. Some people don’t like it, obviously plenty of people do. Plenty of network TV in particular was (and is!) written like this in the 90s and early 2000s, but the MCU is a multibillion-dollar film franchise and that makes the style a household familiarity today. It isn’t that Marvel invented it, it’s that they hired Joss Whedon and made his (and really, a few others) style of writing ubiquitous by virtue of how popular and wide-reaching Marvel movies are. It’s really funny when you guys try to refute the writing/dialogue critique while demonstrating a lack of even a pretty surface-level understanding of trends in pop media writing in the past decade in particular. ![]()
